Technical Project Lead – within Power-to-X business unit

Meet your new Team:
Join our PtX team in Denmark, Germany and Poland, focusing on new PtX customer projects, particularly in developing electrical systems for Power-to-X industries. From the early sales phases to projects matured for serial production, you'll contribute to groundbreaking and competitive products within green technology projects. You will become part of a business unit with diverse nationalities, fostering collaboration and an open, honest atmosphere. Collaborate across functions, sharing best practices with other talented technical project leads, and not at least contribute to solving global climate challenges. Your daily work will be in our office in Ikast or Hammel, Denmark.

As a Technical Project Lead you'll be working in multi-cultural project teams with colleagues from our locations in Denmark, Germany, Poland, and India. In doing so, you will interact with a wide range of stake holders as you work with both suppliers, external consultants and not least: World-leading Power-to-X OEM’s. It will be your task to ensure customer satisfaction and to maintain our image as a professional partner with deep knowledge of electrical power and control systems. Your key responsibilities will be:

• Build and maintain relations to the technical stake holders at the customer
• Be main interface to and from customer on technical matters
• Managing the technical development of our projects
• Provide direction and technical expertise in design, development, test and system interface.
• Leading the development progress in the project as you will be define scope of delivery for the engineering team
• Provide strong technical support to Global Key Account Managers
• Secure continuous optimizations and explore value engineering opportunities together with the customer
• Follow up on project plans together with Project Manager and project team
• Participate in external tests and FAI’s with customer at our production sites

Engineer with an interest for technical project management

Moreover, you:

• Hold a minimum bachelor’s technical degree, e.g. Marine Engineer or Electrical Power Engineer with minimum 3 years of experience
• Have experience with electrical panel design including power circuits and control circuits, and/or experience with MV transformer/switch gear
• Power-to-X experience is an advantage but not a requirement. We will ensure the necessary training for you to develop a strong understanding of Power-to-X projects
• Have knowledge and interested in diving into EN 61439, EN 60204-1, DFMEA and Power-to-X specific standards.
• Can handle tight deadlines and drive parallel tasks
• Can motivate and lead a multi-cultural project team where you define scope of delivery
• Can communicate both horizontal and vertical in an organization
• Have business travel experience, approx. 30-45 days annually
• Have the flexibility to travel around 20-30 days a year to visit our production sites or customers in EU, US and Aisia
• Speak and write English effortlessly.

Your location will be our office in Hammel. Travel days per year should be expected.
